Look forward to a new pic of this girl soon.
I really do like this doe, I just wish she were friendlier. This doe comes from a line that develops a little slow; She started out gorgeous, hit that typical 'teenager' stage and became really gawky looking, and now she's quite elegant since freshening. I'm hoping to see more width in the chest floor over time and her topline and rump have improved since freshening, both being a bit more level. She's really come up in her withers more since freshening and she's showing me really nice space between the ribs with decent dairy skin. Overall showing me good dairy character. I'd like to see less toeing out on her front feet but they aren't too bad.
Tribble freshened beautifully with an udder that doesn't disappoint. High and wide in the rear, snug all the way around, it simply doesn't move and it's well extended in the fore. This girl has the best side attachments and teats (size and placement) in my herd and dare I say she took Kitsune's honor of having my overall favorite mammary system. SUPER easy to milk out, big open orifices, silky texture, milks down to absolutely nothing. This doe is my highest producer in the milk bucket, giving some of my seasoned girls a run for their money and she's only a first freshener! I can't wait to see how she continues to mature.
Tribble is half-sister to two very nice working does in the Desert Nanny herd, and she will be going for her milking star in the future.

I love this girl and feel lucky to have her, thank you very much Bev Jacobs! :)
Sky is a lo-o-ong girl, so stretchy and streamlined. Uphill in the withers with a really great depth and width of the chest floor throughout into a great barrel. Really nice feet and legs and her escutcheon is clean and rounded, plus she has a very pretty head and ear set. She has wonderful dairy character and is going to be a wonderful addition to my herd. Sky could be just a hair tighter in the withers but that's easy to fix with the right breeding.
Sky's FF udder was small but she had a single kid also. It was nicely attached all around and she displayed a really nice medial to the udder, great teat placement and size. She milked out easy with nice orifices. I'm sure her capacity will increase with subsequent freshenings.

Pepper's dam, Sweet Junebug, passed away in '10. I'm was very sad over this news, Pepper has very big shoes to fill and will hopefully do her momma proud as she continues to freshen. I had always said that I wanted a doe out of Junebug. I've seen that doe time and again in show rings and always, always admired her. She was such a structurally sound girl, well put together and smooth and that udder is simply gorgeous. She took her MCH title and it was well earned. Junebug had heavy Twin Creeks bloodlines which I have been interested in tying into my herd, while Captain America brings in those goregeous lines from Dragonflye Farms.
Pepper is a very nice little doe. She walks with width between her hocks and stands on real good feet and legs. She is level from chine to loin, uphill in the withers which are tight. As she aged, her rump did not come out as level as I like to see on my stock now, but it isn't bad either. Her picture didn't really do her much justice, as she had been tensed up from being on the leash for the first time. Pepper is flat boned and in proportion, this is a shorter bodied doe that I would have loved to have seen stretch more as she aged.
Pepper's udder, while snugly attached all around, disappoints me only in teat size and placement. Otherwise her udder is quite nice, globular in shape and perhaps a bit on the small side right now as FF does tend to be. She has a nice medial, smooth fore. It has the potential of upping in capacity on her next freshening, but her teats could make it difficult if milking by hand. For that reason I am selling her. I would recommend her for someone who milks via machine.
